A little glimpse

Hey yall, the Florida man Olympics are about to light the torch, and in 2 miles of driving I saw 3 wrecks and two instances of road rage.

The sirens were just rolling as I was grabbing some kit out of the garages so I expect the competitors will be living up to their reputation.

We just got the official Hurricane warning which, in meteorological terms, is when it goes from “be cautious” to “be ready”. I attached some screen shots from the local warning.

We’re going to start route planning, alternative, contingency, and emergency planning tonight.

I’m going to post the actual write up so you can see sort of what we do for our mission planning.

For now though, I’m scrambling to make some last minute moves.
