Despite having some articles and content on tap, we’ve been a bit quiet and you deserve to know the reason. As scandals large and small have been the rule this year, we’ve been dealing with our own. Namely, people poaching our material without giving any credit.

Here are some examples so you’re tracking:

So whether or not this is me being hypersensitive about our work being lifted, there’s an awful lot of coincidence. As y’all know, we provide our content free, with no ads, and we cite our influences and sources.

That others are profiting off content so similar it borders on plagiarism means they’re not only stealing from Gino and I, but they’re stealing from you, as supporters of this project.

At present, we will likely refrain from posting publicly. We’ve discussed a paygate that would open articles and such to patrons, but that’ll mean a major retooling of the website.

Please be patient with us while we consider our options. Obviously, the best outcome would be to see some integrity instilled in the industry, but that’s about as likely as turning the ocean to freshwater, so we won’t hold our breath.

We lack the reach to really call these guys out, so for now our only real option is to stay quiet and let them survive or die on their own merits.

We will continue to post here, and if we can find a good way of going about it, we can start releasing articles here for you guys, but written and podcast content will be limited for the public for the near term future.
